About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our client's team. In this role, you will serve as a lead on small projects, coordinate with apprentices and fellow tradespeople, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a Red Seal-certified professional who enjoys leading projects, mentoring apprentices, and working on a wide range of plumbing and mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate small plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with safety policies, building codes, and industry standards.
Supervise, mentor, and develop apprentices and fellow journeypersons.
Perform plumbing and mechanical tasks, including pipe fitting, cutting, coring, trenching, layout, and installation.
Conduct site investigations and assist in preparing estimates.
Complete all administrative and project documentation accurately and on time.
Conduct site investigation and support in the creation of an estimate
Support the On-Call Program as required.
Maintain positive working relationships with clients, trades, and internal teams.
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements and departmental growth.
Ensure all projects are executed safely and efficiently, proactively addressing risks or issues.
Requirements
5+ years of plumbing experience or related construction work
Licensed Journeyman Plumber / Red Seal certification
G1/ G2 Certifcation
Proven ability to lead projects and a small crew
Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing codes, safety regulations, and building systems
Experience and knowledge with Steam piping, chilled water, chiller replacements, sanitary compressed air, unit and boiler retros
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills
Completion of supervisory or project management training is an asset (2IC, Scheduling/Communication/Planning, ISO/Quality Training)
