Job Description

WE ARE HIRING TALENTED INDIVIDUALS TO BE PART OF THIS YEAR'S ELECTIONSJoin our election team as a Poll Technology Specialist responsible for managing and supporting voting equipment. You'll oversee tabulators, ePoll books, modems, and printers at polling locations.
Contract: Feb 27th, 2025 (TBD)
Duration: 4 weeks
Incentives: Completion Bonus & Mileage
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Elections HQ for technology deployment and setup
- Maintain equipment quality standards and troubleshoot technical issues
- Support staff with technical problems and liaise with Technical Support
- Assist with ePoll Book organization and logistics
- Travel within district to resolve equipment issues
Requirements:
- Field technician or technical support background
- Proficient with hardware, Windows OS, networking, and Office 365
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for equipment transport
- Ability to lift 45 lbs
- Must be 18+ and eligible to work in Canada
- Must work all days during contract - 100% availability required (weekends included)
Education:
- DCS/DEC required
