As a Hydrotechnical Engineer based in Winnipeg, you’ll lead transformative projects that protect communities, enhance sustainability, and support critical infrastructure. Your Impact



  • Deliver innovative hydrotechnical designs for flood mitigation, watershed management, and water control structures that safeguard communities.

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to execute hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for transportation and mining infrastructure projects.

  • Drive environmental compliance and regulatory permitting to ensure sustainable project outcomes.

  • Build lasting client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives that expand WSP’s impact.

  • Champion health and safety as a core value in every project phase.


The Skills That Set You Apart



  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering, with eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Manitoba.

  • 10+ years of experience delivering water resources and hydrotechnical projects, including flood assessments, hydraulic structures, and mine water management.

  • Proficiency in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling tools and a passion for applying data-driven solutions to complex challenges.

  • A proven ability to lead teams, mentor emerging professionals, and foster collaboration across disciplines.

  • Strategic thinking and client-focused mindset to drive innovation and growth.

Compensation


BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $122,900 – $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $111,000 – $147,400
