Host/Server Assistant
Job Description
Farina A Legna, an Italian restaurant located in Lower Lonsdale with a focus on wood-fired pizza and hand-made pasta, is looking for a part-time evening support all- rounder to join our team. This position would be ideal for someone with experience or looking to expand into the restaurant industry who has a background in cafés and/or quick service dining establishments.
Duties include, but are not limited to interacting with guests, greeting, seating, running, clearing, re-setting, managing reservations, billing, taking payments, processing take-out orders, handling delivery services, fulfilling server drink and coffee orders and supporting the service team wherever necessary to create flawless and memorable guest experiences.
You have:
- A positive, warm attitude
- The ability to multi-task with a calm demeanour
- Previous experience in a similar role considered an asset (counter service, caffe service, bussing and/or bartending)
- Availability to work weekends, days and nights.
- Serving It Right certification
- Barista experience would be an asset
