If you’re warm, patient, and love helping teens feel confident in science, this could be a great fit for you.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching but doesn’t want the stress of planning — our programs are fully pre-designed. This is not an online role.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Other:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be available for a consistent weekly schedule. Must reside in, or with a short commute to Lawrence Plaza, Toronto. A Vulnerable Sector Screening will be required.</li><li>Vulnerable sector screening is required</li></ul><hr /><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field</p></li><li><p>Fourth-year university students with strong tutoring experience are welcome</p></li><li><p>OCT or teaching certification is an asset</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Grades 9–12 chemistry and biology curricula</p></li></ul><p><strong>Experience & Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience tutoring or teaching high school students in science</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Comfortable guiding up to 3 students at a time</p></li><li><p>Able to balance teaching and creating a positive, supportive environment</p></li></ul><hr /><strong>Your Role at Oxford Learning</strong><p>You’ll work as an Interactive Coach, guiding students through lessons, encouraging their progress, and celebrating their wins.
