<p>DT Equipment Repair Inc. is your premier Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Repair provider. We operate primarily in Western Canada & the Territories. Specializing in embedded contracts in Oil/Gas, Mining, Logging and Heavy Civil Construction.</p><p>DT Equipment Repair is looking for qualified <em>Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technicians</em> to run DT Equipment Service Trucks in Fly In/Fly Out positions in Central, Western & Northern Canada.</p><ul><li>Full-time permanent HD Field Mechanic to run a Service Truck</li><li>Minimum of 5 yrs experience</li><li>Must be physically fit and highly motivated with a solid work ethic</li><li>Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening mandatory</li><li>Pre-employment background check</li></ul><p>Overall Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Safe and ethical operation of DT Equipment Repair Inc. Service Truck</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance</li><li>Diagnose and repair equipment deficiencies</li><li>Communicate with site management to coordinate maintenance priorities</li><li>Maintain maintenance records</li><li>Promote safety awareness by ensuring compliance of corporate health and safety policies and procedures</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>MANDITORY - Heavy Equipment Technician (Off Road) – Journeyman (Red Seal) Certified</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience working with CAT, John Deere and Hitachi equipment</li><li>Minimum 5 years in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Mining</li><li>Have the ability to deal with large volumes of work and demanding situations</li><li>Energy Safety Canada CSO training</li><li>Willingness to work in Fort McMurray or NWT and working a rotational schedule</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team</li><li>Valid Class 5 operators license (candidate to provide current abstract)</li><li>Standard First Aid certification is required</li><li>Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection and Ariel Work Platform certifications are required</li></ul><p>Work Schedules and Compensation Package:</p><ul><li>$55-$60 per Hour (1.5X Overtime after 8hrs Daily & 40hrs weekly, 2X after 12hrs Daily)</li><li>Fly in/Fly out positions - Fort McMurray/NWT's</li><li>14/14 work schedule</li><li>TAX-FREE LOA or Camp provided</li><li>TAX-FREE Travel Allowance provided</li><li>4% Vacation Pay</li><li>12-hour rotating day/night shifts</li><li>Group Benefits Plan with Manulife</li><li>4% RRSP Matching with Commonwealth</li><li>Cell Phone Allowance</li><li>Boot Allowance</li><li>Tool Allowance</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $170,000.00-$280,000.00 per year</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Company events</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>RRSP match</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Heavy Equipment Repair: 5 years (preferred)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
