<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $40/Hr<br /><p><strong>HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC NOC 72401</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Company: GCS General Contracting Services Ltd.</li><li>Business address: 54314 Range Road 255, St. Albert, Alberta, T8T 0T8, Canada</li><li>Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic</li><li>Vacancy: 1</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Job duties: </p><ul><li><br />Complete repairs on a equipment based on priority sequence from the Fleet Manager.</li><li><br />Follow up on repair requisitions from various sites and schedule maintenance / repairs needed accordingly.</li><li><br />Follow preventative maintenance requirements as per equipment manual.</li><li><br />Verify that maintenance and repairs are in accordance with the Commercial Vehicle Manual for the company.</li><li><br />Follow CVIP requirements for all vehicles.</li><li><br />Solve problems from troubleshooting to diagnosis to repair.</li><li><br />Develop work scopes and schedules for equipment to be repaired.</li><li><br />Track and document all repairs and costs.</li><li><br />Order parts for servicing, complete reports and fill out work orders.</li><li><br />Maintain parts inventory.</li><li><br />Keep the shop is good and safe working order and conduct regular inspections.</li><li><br />Manage other shop personnel as needed.</li><li><br />Participate in and follow all requirements of the company and client HSE programs.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Terms of employment: </p><ul><li>Full time permanent.</li><li>Language of work: English.</li><li>Wage: $40, annual bonuses.</li><li>Benefits package offered: Medical extended benefits after 3 months, company will pay 50%. Dental plan after 3 months, company will pay 50%.</li><li>Location(s) of work: Same as business location</li><li>Contact information: www.gcsgroup.ca, <span >gcsapplication@gmail.com</span></li><li>Hours: 32 to 60 per week.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Skills / Requirements:</p><ul><li><br />3+ years experience as a Heavy Duty <span >Mechanic/Technician.</span></li><li><br />Possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities.</li><li><br />Capable of working with minimal supervision.</li><li><br />Experience with Ditch Witch HDD drills is an asset.</li><li><br />Experience with Hydrovacs is an asset.</li><li><br />Be proficient in English, both verbally and written.</li><li><br />Have a valid Class 5 drivers license (or Class 3 or Class 1).</li><li><br />Have a clean drivers abstract (3 or less demerits).</li><li><br />CSTS 2020 (Required).</li><li><br />WHMIS 2015 (Required).</li><li><br />Commercial Driver Training.</li><li><br />Standard First Aid.</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
