Our team provides top-notch industry training who will help you grow as a professional in the industry.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Our client in manufacturing industry is looking for Health and Safety Coordinator in the St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>What you need to have:</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Post-secondary education with focus on Environmental Science and/or Health and Safety or related field of study</p><p><br></p><p>Joint Health and Safety Committee Management Certification – must be willing to obtain</p><p><br></p><p>Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) – or working towards would be considered an asset</p><p><br></p><p>Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Must be able and willing to deliver training in a group setting</p><p><br></p><p>Ability to meet and manage competing deadlines and handle multiple priorities and demands.</p><p><br></p><p>Work with management team to develop and implement proactive strategies and initiatives to reduce accidents, incidents, injuries and near misses and to promote a strong safety culture</p><p><br></p><p>Develop, review, update and implement health and safety policies and procedures, including PPE, safe operation of cranes and mobile equipment, confined workspace, fire safety, asbestos, lead, and silica programs, as well as environmental compliance</p><p><br></p><p>Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety and environmental legislation and liaison with outside consultants and regulatory bodies as required</p><p><br></p><p>Coordinate and conduct accident, incident and near-miss investigations, as required</p><p><br></p><p>Schedule and administer all employee health and safety training</p><p><br></p><p>Deliver health and safety on-boarding program to new employees</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>In exchange for your efforts and success, we offer the following:</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>-Competitive base salary</p><p><br></p><p>-Fantastic work environment</p><p><br></p><p>-Extended health care</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>If you are interested in this Health and Safety Coordinator opportunity, please apply here.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Get to know us because we want to know you.
