We are currently seeking a qualified Hardware Test Engineer to join our team.
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Analyze the hardware requirements and draft test cases and procedures.
- Perform hardware system level testing and verify equipment level testing for safety critical hardware.
- Test case development and execution - this includes:
- The development of test cases and procedures based on systems requirements.
- Peer reviewing tests for correctness and completeness.
- Debugging test cases and potential issues when tests fail.
- Ensuring test cases and the associated test processes meet all required objectives.
- Assist in the development and updates to test documents, Software Verification Plan, Software Test cases and Procedures document, etc.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic system level testing.
- Experience with development of hardware test cases, test procedures and execution of test procedures is required.
- Experienced with developing and executing test cases in Python
- Strong technical skills with emphasis in the areas of system level testing, verification and validation
- Ability to work across hardware and software
