Oakridge Landscape Contractors is on the lookout for an energetic and experienced <strong>Grounds Superintendent</strong> to lead year-round property maintenance operations for high-profile commercial sites.<br><br></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>As our Grounds Superintendent, you’ll be out and about - keeping sites pristine, crews productive, and clients impressed. You’ll work closely with contractors, tenants, and property managers while leading a team that takes pride in their work. Your mission? Make every property shine, all year long.<br><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Get:</strong></p><ul><li>$60,000 - 70,000/year starting salary.</li><li>Benefits after 3 months.</li><li>Company vehicle & phone.</li><li>RRSP matching after 1 year.</li><li>Be part of an award-winning, people-first team.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Your Day-to-Day:</strong></p><ul><li>Keep commercial properties clean, safe, and stunning - from softscape to hardscape.</li><li>Build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and crews.</li><li>Lead and support maintenance staff to meet Oakridge standards.</li><li>Submit daily and monthly site reports.</li><li>Identify hazards, spot empty units, and report site issues.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>And in the Winter:</strong></p><ul><li>You’ll manage snow removal operations - a key part of our business. It’s a fast-paced, 24/7 on-call responsibility where your organization and leadership shine.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>5-10 years of experience in property or grounds management.</li><li>Background in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or Applied Tech. (a plus!)</li><li>A valid driver&#39;s license and clean abstract.</li><li>Great judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to lead with confidence.</li><li>Tech-savvy with basic Excel skills.</li><li>Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Bonus Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with HVAC, general trades, and emergency systems.</li><li>Knowledge of site-specific items. (fire hydrants, catch basins, utility rooms, etc.).</li><li>Ability to handle anything from alarm codes to tenant complaints like a pro!</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Apply now!
