Headquartered in Long Grove, Illinois, we have over 40 factories on three continents, including 2.1 million square feet of U.S. distribution and manufacturing space.</p><p>MAT HD (mat-hd.com)</p>Job Description<br><br><p><strong>Current address 46 Sinclair Blvd, Brantford, ON N3S 7Y1, Canada</strong></p><p><strong>We are moving to 100 Newman St, Ingersoll, ON N5C 3J8, Canada</strong></p><p> </p><p>The target start date in Ingersoll is October 20, 2025, <strong>with 4 weeks of training in Brantford.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Pay rate - CAD$19-20/HR</strong></p><p><strong>1st Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday (7:00 am to 5:30 pm)</strong></p><p><strong>2nd Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday (5:00 pm to 3:30 am)</strong></p><p><strong>Pay is weekly every Friday.</strong></p><p><strong>Travel stipend for travel from Ingersoll to Brantford.</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for operating rivet machines, packaging equipment, deliner machines, and other positions within the facility.</p><ul><li>Operates equipment in the most efficient manner possible with the constant intention of finding new improvements to increase production and quality levels.</li><li>Troubleshoots equipment when any errors occur to find the cause of the problem and to seek ways to prevent the error from recurring.</li><li>Proactively monitors production to ensure that quality levels remain at the highest possible levels.</li><li>Perform all setup and changeover processes in the most efficient manner possible.</li><li>Continuously seeks new methods of production to increase efficiency, safety, and quality while reducing costs.</li><li>Maintains operations that guarantee safety is always preserved.</li><li>Aggressively seeks all opportunities available to develop new skills and increase personal development to achieve the highest performance possible.</li><li>Performs all quality inspections of parts during production and immediately seeks to correct any issues found. </li><li>Performs routine daily maintenance activities on equipment.</li><li>Proactively seeks to keep the equipment and work area as orderly and clean as possible to aid future production.</li><li>Ensures that the work area is spotless and ready for the next operator at the end of the shift. </li><li>Additional duties assigned by the Supervisor and/or the Team Lead.</li></ul><p> </p>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent degree.</li><li>1 year of prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</li><li>A minimum of two years of mechanical press, robot welder, drum welder, rivet machine, and/or transit equipment operator experience is preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>RRSP</li><li>Medical, Dental & Vision</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement for PT & FT employees</li><li>Career Development based on the Skills Matrix</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p>For Questions, please contact Josephine Ferguson  at (678) 214-7724.</p></p></p>
