Framing Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Wood Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has experience with residential and/or commercial framing, works well independently or with a crew, and takes pride in producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair wood framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools
- Install windows, doors, sheathing, blocking, and hardware
- Ensure all work meets building codes and quality standards
- Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a wood framing carpenter (2-5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of framing techniques and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with commercial framing
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- Ability to lead small crews

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
