Job Description

<p>Operates powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse, storage yard, or manufacturing facility. Ensures safe and efficient material handling to support production and logistics operations.</p><p>Job Description</p><ul><li>Directly reports to Plant Manager</li><li>Adapts to varying load types and sizes, requiring spatial awareness and problem-solving skills</li><li>Follows established processes while identifying opportunities for improved efficiency in material handling</li><li>Responsible for the safe operation and basic maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment</li><li>Adheres to daily performance targets for loading, unloading, and moving materials</li><li>Directly contributes to inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations</li><li>Impacts workplace safety through adherence to safety protocols</li></ul><p>Requirements<br>Experience</p><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment (preferred)</li></ul><p>Education</p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid forklift certification required</li></ul><p>Technical Knowledge</p><ul><li>Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks)</li><li>Understanding of safety regulations related to forklift operation</li></ul><p>About ODL<br>Driven by continual innovation and trusted customer partnerships, ODL is a visionary building products leader delivering a full breadth of high-quality door and insulated glass offerings.
