Job Description

<p>Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join their team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be part of the Warehouse Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.</p>

<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Shipper/Receiver</p>

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Milton, ON</p>

<p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $23 - $23.95 per hour<br>
<strong>Day shift:</strong> 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday to Friday <br>
<strong>Afternoon shift:</strong> 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday to Friday <br>
<strong>Night shift: </strong>Monday to Thursday 8:00 pm – 6:30 am (10 hour shift)<br>
Training on Day shift for 2 weeks Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm </p>

<p><strong>What's the Job?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Accurately receive products using the Data Warehouse System and stage received goods for replenishment.
<li>Operate Pump truck, Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, and Cherry picker
<li>Process shipments using the Pack Verification System and manage all courier shipments through the scan code shipping system.
<li>Efficiently pick parts to fulfill orders and verify that parts and quantities match sales orders.
<li>Safely operate all warehouse equipment and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
<li>Participate in Lean/Problem Solving activities and assist other departments as needed.
</ul>

<p><strong>What's Needed?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
<li>Experience operating Counterbalance/Raymond Reach/Cherry picker
<li>Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and packing slips.
<li>Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn in-house systems.
<li>Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work with minimal supervision.
<li>Able to lift 50 lbs 
</ul>
