We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service and expert product knowledge to our diverse clientele. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the right products, demonstrate features when necessary, and ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and passionate about retail sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stock levels
• Provide excellent customer service through active listening and effective communication
• Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers during busy periods
• Handle cashiering duties including processing payments via POS, giving change, and issuing receipts
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience in retail sales, with a focus on customer service excellence
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and POS systems
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Time management skills to prioritize customer needs effectively during shifts
• Phone etiquette for assisting customers over the phone or via digital channels
• Proven ability in upselling and increasing sales through suggestive selling techniques
• Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is advantageous

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
