About Us:

U-Wing Education established in 2018, focusing on K–G12 after-school tutoring. We are dedicated to providing high-quality education to students in the metro vancouver.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English teacher to support students in English reading and writing. The ideal candidate is passionate about literacy development and capable of delivering structured, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach English Reading and Writing lessons to students
  • Prepare and organize lesson materials aligned with student learning goals
  • Provide regular feedback on student progress
  • Complete student report cards at the end of each term
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of English teaching experience in North America
  • Strong familiarity with the BC English Language Arts curriculum
  • Current or former BC-certified school teachers preferred
  • Experience teaching SAT or AP English courses is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to teach either online or in person

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
