<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>This busy Original Equipment Manufacturer is looking to add a proven Electrical Designer to support their growing operation. Working closely with an established team of Project Managers and Engineers, there will be opportunities to contribute to a wide range of projects. The Electrical Designer will design complete electrical systems from scratch and troubleshoot as needed.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design complete electrical systems from scratch for a variety of projects</li><li>Produce electrical schematics and shop drawings using AutoCAD Electrical</li><li>Specify components and create bills of materials</li><li>Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver on project goals</li><li>Troubleshoot electrical systems and contribute problem-solving skills</li><li>Travel abroad as required</li></ul><h3>Qualifications / Requirements</h3><ul><li>At least 8 years of experience designing complete electrical systems from scratch</li><li>Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical</li><li>Ability to produce electrical schematics and shop drawings, specify components, and create bills of materials</li><li>Programming experience with PLC and HMI is a plus</li><li>Understanding of motors, drives, or hydraulics is desirable</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel abroad as needed</li></ul><h3>Seniority level</h3><ul><li>Mid-Senior level</li></ul><h3>Employment type</h3><ul><li>Full-time</li></ul><h3>Job function</h3><ul><li>Manufacturing, Design, and Engineering</li><li>Industries: Manufacturing</li></ul><p><b>Location:</b> Hamilton, Ontario, Canada</p></p>
