Purpose:
The Dispatcher / Weekend Team Leader reports to the Supervisor, Operations, and is based in Hamilton. This is a hybrid role combining dispatch responsibilities with weekend Warehouse Team Lead oversight. The Warehouse Team Lead provides mentorship, guidance, training, and ongoing support to Warehouse Associates. Supports operational continuity by providing weekend leadership coverage, addressing process gaps, and ensuring that contractual obligations by fulfilling all delivery requirements accurately and on time.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the efficient organization and operation of the warehouse, ensuring proper picking and packing procedures are followed and appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensures warehouse functions are effectively coordinated to support Royal Drug's commitment to high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintains a strong working knowledge of applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inventory control processes.
- Coordinate and communicate all delivery orders with couriers to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
- Ensures all shipments are properly scanned, routed, labeled, and verified prior to release, in accordance with established shipping procedures and guidelines.
- Monitors and support warehouse and dispatch operations to maintain compliance with contractual service standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of inventory control procedures and all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Adhere to corporate regulatory requirements and individual responsibilities in support of company policies, work instructions, and management programs.
- Oversee and ensure Warehouse Associates consistently follow established guidelines and perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts, audits, and required documentation.
- Promote and enforce compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures within the warehouse.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related warehouse or logistics experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving processes, considered an asset.
- Proficiency with computers and familiarity with inventory management systems, considered an asset.

- Efficient in the organization and operation of the warehouse, ensuring proper picking and packing procedures are followed,

- Ensure all orders are shipped to meet the customers' requirements
- Ensure that all customers orders are processed in a timely manor
- Ensure, wait times, delivery times are monitored to drive down overall costs.
- Adhere to the company's commitment to policy and Code of Conduct.
- Responsible for continuous monitoring of all warehouse screens in the system.
- Ensure all proper inventory levels in the pick locations and perform expiry checks and dating reporting.
- Ability to support audit control functions and maintain accurate inventory documentation in compliance with established procedures.
