This is role is based in Ottawa, Ontario. Our ideal candidate will either be based in the region or open to relocating. We value in-person collaboration and encourage regular time at our head office.


Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and a view on where the loyalty, CDP, AI marketing automation world is heading
  • Excellent communication skills at every level: exec, customers, engineers etc.
  • The ability to craft a story and turn data into a roadmap
  • Leadership and influence: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to drive alignment, accountability, and results across diverse stakeholders.
  • Customer Empathy: How to guide a customer to what they need, not always what they want
  • Emotional Intelligence: Empathetic toward team members perspectives and workloads


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with Spoonity's business goals and meet the needs of our clients
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product development and differentiation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and prioritize features and enhancements
  • Manage the product roadmap, ensuring that it is up-to-date and aligned with business goals and customer needs
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop and deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs
  • Communicate product updates and releases to internal and external stakeholders, including sales and customer support teams
  • Define and track key performance metrics for our products, and use data to drive continuous improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product management, and apply them to our product development processes
  • May be required to travel up to 25% of their time to international destinations


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
