<p>The County of Halifax is seeking an experienced finance professional to serve as its next Director of Finance. A detailed job description is available online at www.halifaxcountyva.gov or at the County Administration office located at 1050 Mary Bethune Street, Halifax, VA.</p>
<p>The desired candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university. CPA certification preferred. Experience must include governmental accounting, budget development and management, financial reporting, debt management, and grant administration.</p>
