Day Shift Laborer
Job Description
Location: Clavet, SK
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Shift Available: Day shift
Compensation: $28.60 CAD/hr

Principal Accountabilities
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping general activities according with the sanitation program
- Basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
- Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment as needed
- Daily inspections of mobile equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant, and must be able to work in confined spaces
- Basic use of a computer
- Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver’s license in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
