Responsibilities

Conducting passenger check-ins including: process ticket, announce flights, collect boarding passes, assist with baggage requirements and escort passengers during departures and arrivals
Cargo acceptance and processing
Receiving and communicate weather information, flight times, and passenger loads.
Preparing flight/freight manifest, passenger tickets, and load sheets
Effective communication with customers, peers, management, and various departments.
Assist with baggage handling and track lost baggage.
Coordinate transportation, meal requirements, and hotel reservations as required.
Problem solving and making a positive contribution to overall company operations.

Qualifications

Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations.
Computer skills an asset.
Self-motivated and able to work within given timelines.
Effective leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Able to resolve conflicts positively and productively (customer and co-worker).
Organizational skills imperative.
Required to obtain an Aircraft Radio license and Restricted Area Identity Card

Shift Requirements

Flexibility to work mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
Occasional overtime and on call shifts may be required.

This position is represented by the Teamsters Local 395 bargaining unit.
