Snowbird Aviation Services has opportunities as a Customer Service Agent within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities
- Conducting passenger check-ins including: process ticket, announce flights, collect boarding passes, assist with baggage requirements and escort passengers during departures and arrivals
- Cargo acceptance and processing
- Receiving and communicate weather information, flight times, and passenger loads.
- Preparing flight/freight manifest, passenger tickets, and load sheets
- Effective communication with customers, peers, management, and various departments.
- Assist with baggage handling and track lost baggage.
- Coordinate transportation, meal requirements, and hotel reservations as required.
- Problem solving and making a positive contribution to overall company operations.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations.
- Computer skills an asset.
- Self-motivated and able to work within given timelines.
- Effective leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to resolve conflicts positively and productively (customer and co-worker).
- Organizational skills imperative.
- Required to obtain an Aircraft Radio license and Restricted Area Identity Card
Shift Requirements
- Flexibility to work mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
- Occasional overtime and on call shifts may be required.
This position is represented by the Teamsters Local 395 bargaining unit.
