Our client, manufacturing industry, is seeking a Cust. SWBD Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Cust. SWBD Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cust. SWBD Mechanical Assembler
Location: Milton, ON
Pay Range: $22 - $26 per hour (based on experince)
Day and Afternoon shifts available

What's the Job?

  • Assemble, fit, and mount mechanical components into large switchboard structures.
  • Construct heavy switchboard structures and subassemblies using pre-fabricated metal parts.
  • Mount and brace copper bus, risers, and bus supports inside structures.
  • Utilize a variety of tools including power impact wrenches, torque guns, ladders, punch presses, and band saws.
  • Inspect parts and materials before and after assembly to ensure quality and conformance to drawings and standards.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly using power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
  • Strong physical capability and aptitude for mechanical work.
  • Excellent attitude, commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
