For accommodation needs, please contact <span >CLBCPeopleServices@gov.bc.ca</span> at any stage of the hiring process.</p><p>Visit our Careers at CLBC page to learn more about working at CLBC, what we offer, and tips for the interview process.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>As a Contracts Clerk at CLBC, you will be responsible for contract preparation, processing various administrative and financial documents, providing reception and switchboard services, and administrative and program support to staff.</p><p>If you're a skilled administrative professional who thrives on details and enjoys working in a collaborative environment helping others, we'd love to hear from you!</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparing, administering and monitoring contracts for the delivery of CLBC-supported services and funding per current legislation, contract specifications, and agency policy and procedures within a regional area</li><li>Greeting, screening and directing families and persons with developmental disabilities to appropriate offices and agencies for service.</li><li>Maintaining a computerized status log and database of all regional contracts and providing up-to-date reports</li><li>Maintaining physical and electronic files for people with developmental disabilities and their families, along with a general filing system</li><li>Providing word processing, data input & typing support such as correspondence, mail merges, meeting minutes, forms, client information</li><li>Liaising with Quality Service Analysts for initial, renewal and modification contracts</li><li>Verifying that backup and source documents are accurate, complete and compliant and are approved by appropriate spending authority per CLBC policy and procedure</li><li>Resolving transactions that are not in compliance, referring complex transactions to the supervisor</li></ul><p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p><ul><li>A combination of 3 years <span >clerical/administrative</span> support experience, education, and/or training in a financial position (e.g. payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping)</li><li>Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills</li><li>Preference may be given to candidates with experience processing contracts</li></ul><p><strong>We're also looking for an administrative professional who:</strong></p><ul><li>Can establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with staff</li><li>Excels at managing multiple tasks and has a sharp attention to detail</li><li>Can communicate clearly with a diverse range of people, and listens actively to ensure nothing is missed</li><li>Has excellent time management skills</li><li>Brings a collaborative spirit to a team where your contributions will make a real difference</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits </strong>You will receive a comprehensive benefits package.</p><ul><li>Employer-paid extended health and dental plan</li><li>A BC Public Service Pension plan with employer contributions</li><li>Generous vacation plus additional personal days</li><li>Paid <span >maternity/parental/adoption</span> leave</li><li>Life insurance, paid sick days, and, if needed, long-term disability</li><li>Wellness supports, including an Employee and Family Assistance Program</li><li>Professional development funds and resources to encourage continuous learning and skill development</li><li>Access to government discounts to travel, cell phones, and more!</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Info:</strong></p><ul><li>Successful applicants are subject to a Criminal Record Check</li><li>An eligibility list for internal candidates may be established</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
