We offer competitive compensation, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to work on projects that make a lasting impact in our communities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Roles and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Superintendent is responsible for total project delivery of planning, execution and monitoring to ensure compliance with safety, quality, budget and schedule.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide safety leadership through implementation of Togala Safety Program and monitoring of safety performance of field staff and subcontractors.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the Project Manager to ensure the project is run efficiently.</li><li>Provide people leadership through establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with field staff and subcontractors in order to promote positive morale.</li><li>Supervision and development of site team members through regular feedback, training and coaching; timely completion of performance evaluations.</li><li>Contribute to the development and refinement of the project schedule.</li><li>Develop and maintain 3-week and 6-week lookahead schedules.</li><li>Create, maintain, and execute the project plan and schedule, and ensures compliance with budget and quality.</li><li>Review and understand the contract and subcontracts and develops a plan that identifies and mitigates risks and maximizes opportunities to ensure that all financial targets, including budgets, forecasts, and profitability levels are met.</li><li>Maintain project administration correspondence and comply with documentation requirements.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Demonstrated, progressive experience in General Contracting as a Superintendent in commercial and multifamily construction.</li><li>Trade background in carpentry and/or Gold Seal Certification are considered an asset.</li><li>Effective supervision, coordination and scheduling of construction activities to ensure consistent completion of projects on time, on budget and to the clients’ satisfaction.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, field management and problem-solving skills support your collaborative approach to delivering results and developing team members.</li><li>You have demonstrated competence in the areas of safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, quality and administration.</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office including MS Project.</li></ul><p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
