We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated individual to support advisory services for international clients. The successful candidate will act as an advisor to current and new clients. They will create deliverables including technical analysis frameworks, schedule assessment/analysis, 4D planning support and presentations. They will also conduct detailed and extensive analyses and write technical reports. They will support client teams in the development and deployment of processes and procedures. The Position

We are currently recruiting a Construction Advisor to join our team. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of thought leaders to provide organizational and project-based consulting services.

Location: Calgary, Alberta (Remote)

  • Travel Required: Yes
  • Work Schedule:Monday - Friday with some evenings and weekends

Education and Experience

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
    • Project management certification is an asset (SCPM, PMP)
    • P6 certification/experience is an asset
    • Bentley Synchro 4D certification/experience is an asset

  • Experience
    • Well-versed in construction project planning and coordination
    • Well-versed in workface planning best practices
    • Experience in developing, maintaining, and interpreting project schedules
    • Experience in cost controls and EVMS
    • Minimum 5 years of on-site project experience
    • Experience developing and documenting business requirements
    • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
    • Experience analyzing large datasets
    • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an asset
    • Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) experience is an asset

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Defining and documenting project challenges and areas of success
  • Working with stakeholders to obtain reporting requirements, input, and feedback
  • Evaluating project schedules and implementing 4D scheduling using Synchro 4D
  • Providing guidance and advice on areas of subject matter expertise
  • Developing data visualizations and dashboards
  • Performing data analysis and documenting findings
  • Delivering presentations to project teams
  • Working with leadership teams to support project operations
  • Identifying areas of potential improvement and creating proposals for innovation or process optimization
  • Supporting corporate and project AWP programs for client teams
  • Performing on-site productivity assessments and program audits
