Ideal Candidate

  • Strong knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Knowledge and application of Verbal Behaviour and Skills Based Treatment (SBT)
  • Enjoys working with children, is creative and has great play skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Supervisory and staff management experience
  • Takes initiative and has strong leadership skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) in Ontario.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with Autistic individuals.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory and program management experience.
  • Knowledge and application of Verbal Behaviour and Skills Based Treatment (SBT).
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with caregivers and other stakeholders.
  • Drivers license and access to a vehicle during work hours.
  • The successful candidate must also have a current vulnerable sector screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising ITs in providing ABA services, monitoring and evaluation of performance.
  • Conducting both functional behavioural assessments and skills assessments (VBMAPP, ESDM, EBIC, EFLS, etc.).
  • Facilitating the intake process and participating in the treatment planning process.
  • Conducting administrative and management duties.
  • Preparing teaching materials, writing reports and progress notes.
  • Responsible for developing and individualizing programs based on the assessment and input from parents and IT
  • Developing, implementing and overseeing behaviour reduction plans
  • Implement staff training and parent coaching
  • Acts as clinical liaison at the request of the parents with community agencies/schools etc.
  • Meet regularly with families to review client progress and provide or supervise parent training
