<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Job description:</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Ajax, ON<br /><strong>Company:</strong> Generations Cleaning<br /><strong>Position Type: </strong>Full-Time<br /><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday to Friday, 10:00am-7:00pm<br /><strong>Pay:</strong> CA$18.00 per hour<br><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Generations Cleaning is looking for an experienced Working Cleaning Team Lead to support our cleaning operations in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has previous supervisory or team lead experience, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to supporting staff and maintaining a clean, safe worksite.<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Daily Cleaning & Maintenance:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform general cleaning of warehouse areas including offices, washrooms, lunchrooms, and kitchenettes.</li><li>Sweep warehouse aisles, including underneath racking.</li><li>Operate a ride-on floor machine to maintain warehouse floors.</li><li>Empty and replace garbage and recycling bins.</li><li>Refill consumables such as paper towel, toilet paper, and hand soap.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Leadership & Support:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as the on-site lead for the cleaning team, assisting staff with daily tasks and ensuring work is completed to company standards.</li><li>Provide coaching, support, and guidance to team members when needed.</li><li>Assist with site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Communication & Coordination:</strong></p><ul><li>Communicate regularly with Generations Cleaning Management regarding site updates, issues, needs, and successes.</li><li>Help ensure all cleaning procedures and protocols are followed correctly.</li><li>Report supply needs, equipment issues, or staffing concerns promptly.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum 3 years in a similar supervisory or team lead cleaning role (warehouse experience an asset).</li><li><strong>Skills:</strong> Strong communication skills, ability to lead by example, and willingness to work alongside the team.</li><li><strong>Technical:</strong> Comfort using cleaning equipment including ride-on floor machines.</li><li><strong>Other:</strong> Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive pay.</li><li>Supportive management and training.</li><li>Opportunity to grow within the company.</li><li>Stable, long-term employment with a trusted GTA-based cleaning company.</li></ul></p></p>
