<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Safety-Kleen in <strong>Nisku</strong> is seeking a <strong>Sales and Service Representative (Class 3)</strong> to join their safety conscious team! The SSR executes daily waste pickup and delivery services at client sites. This role will also require performing sales-driven tasks to help solicit new business. You will drive our sustainability mission by providing excellent service to our customers while promoting Safety-Kleen products and services.<br><br></p><p><strong>Required Routes: </strong>Areas of coverage will include primarily the Edmonton & surrounding area; however, applicants must also be available & comfortable driving out of town runs to locations such as Fort McMurray, Lloydminster, Edson & Hinton on a need basis.<br><br></p><p><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen?</strong></p><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5.</li><li>Competitive compensation: $27-$29/hr. + sales commission structure.</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits cover 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>RRSP with an employer component.</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development at all stages of your career.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely and efficiently operate Class 3 level trucks to deliver and pick up waste from client sites (such as used oil, anti-freeze, and related products).</li><li>Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service, ensuring their needs are met to their satisfaction.</li><li>Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Safety-Kleen products and services, contributing to revenue growth.</li><li>Manage daily routes and ensure compliance with schedules while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Ensure accuracy in product deliveries, waste pickups, and related documentation.</li><li>Adhere to all company, provincial, and federal safety regulations and guidelines, including transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and workplace environment.</li><li>Participate in required training and maintain all certifications necessary for the role.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p><ul><li>Valid Class 3 license with operating experience highly preferred (manual transmission would be a significant asset).</li><li>Enjoys building relationships and confidence to execute sales tactics.</li><li>Must be determined and assertive with strong organizational skills.</li><li>Vacuum truck operating experience is a strong asset but not required.</li><li>B2B route sales or customer service experience is preferred.</li><li>Environmental Services/Hazardous waste experience is a strong asset.</li><li>Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.</li><li>Clean driving record.</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
