Class 1 Drivers - Frac Sand Hauling
Job Description
We’re seeking experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our roster for an upcoming project hauling Frac Sand in Grande Prairie, AB.
- Paid training & driver evaluations to start the week of January 27, 2025 in Red Deer, AB, work to start shortly after for a 6 months to a year contract position working around the Grande Prairie, AB region
- Schedule options of 21 on/20 off and 15 on/6 off
- Camp or hotel accommodations to be provided
Please ensure you meet all the below criteria before applying for this position.
Responsibilities
- Utilize proper PPE for loading and offloading product
- Complete daily accurate pre-inspections and post-inspections regulatory logs and timesheets
- Ensure information on Bill of Lading is correct
- Ensure that electronic logs align with Federal regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience in Canada
- Oilfield/off road driving experience
- Super-b or tri-quad experience
- Drivers abstract with no more than 6 demerits & no impaired driving convictions
- Must know how to use tire chains
- Polite and professional attitude
- High regard for safety
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
Certifications Required
- Must have a valid Class 1 driver’s license and provide current 5-year commercial drivers abstract
- Standard First Aid & CPR – Level C (AB & BC)
- H2S Alive
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Other Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test
- Must be clean shaven for masks used while around frac sand
- Must be able to pass driver evaluation using an 18-speed manual
- Steel toe boots are required for PPE
