Job Description

This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries within Yellowknife and area in a timely manner. A normal workweek will be Monday to Friday, however, some flexibility in availability will occasionally be required.

May be required to drive a Straight truck or pickup truck depending on the need that day, assist on the dock unloading trailers and loading and general office duties. Willing to work long hours if needed, able to travel to different terminals in the region to fill in when the need arises

The driver must reside in the Yellowknife area; no fly-in options.

Qualifications

Class 1 license with 12 months of Class 1 driving experience
1 year of pick-up and delivery experience
Must be able to operate a standard transmission
Reliable and dependable
TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets
Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.
