The Engineering Intern provides technical and administrative support to the Stellar Energy design group.

The Engineering Intern will report to the Engineering Manager.

Work may include coordinating design documents, copying or filing hard copies or electronic copies of design documents, formatting and/or compiling engineering reports, performing engineering calculations, and configuring design software tools.



Duties

The Engineering Intern will work closely with engineers and designers to produce project design work products, such as reports, drawings, calculations, analysis, checklists, engineering standards, and product assessments.



Tools

Engineering Intern to be proficient in the use of a PC to open, modify, and store files, and must have familiarity with computer network drives or file storage locations. AutoCAD experience is a plus.



Engineering Intern will regularly use MS Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Knowledge and experience with a pdf viewer/editor package are expected. Use of internet browser applications to research products will be required.


Experience

Engineering Intern to have equivalent of an Associates 2-year degree in drafting or related technical discipline.

Previous experience in a design or engineering environment is a plus.
