<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Child and Youth Worker</strong><br /><strong>Full-time Position in Timmins (Live-In Treatment, Intensive Services, and Child-in-Care Programs) </strong><br><br>North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) is seeking a full-time Child and Youth Worker to provide care and direct support to youth ages 8 to 18 within the Live-In Treatment, Intensive Services, and Child-in-Care programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of life and social skills, delivering interventions, participating in daily programming, maintaining comprehensive records and logs, completing safety and security checks, and collaborating with team members to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for youth. <br><br><strong>Job requirements (qualifications and skills): </strong></p><ul><li>Successful completion of a diploma and/or degree from an accredited College and/or University in Social Services, Human Services, Police Foundations, Community and Justice Program, Paramedic or Registered Practical Nursing (RPN) is preferred. A Personal Support Worker Certificates (Eight Months or longer) may also be considered. </li><li>Full-time students presently active in completing their last year of a diploma and/or degree in Social Services, Human Services, or Nursing may be considered. </li><li>Must be willing and able to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis including dayshifts, nightshifts, evenings, and weekends. </li><li>Must be willing to travel as necessary. </li><li>Experience working with children, youth and families is considered an asset. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, time management, organizational and communication skills. </li><li>Bilingualism (English /French) is an asset. </li><li>Must have a valid G driver’s license and use of own vehicle. </li></ul><p><br />The job description for this position is available upon request. <br><br>Please submit your resume by: <strong>September 22, 2025</strong><br />Quote Competition # <strong>25-75</strong><br />Send Resume and Cover Letter via email to: Salary: <strong><span >humanresources@neofacs.org</span></strong> <strong>$ 61,165 to $79,407</strong><br /> For more employment opportunities please visit our website at www.neofacs.org<br><br>North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services only accepts resumes that are received by the email address above.
