<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>The Chief Engineer will manage the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.</li>
<li>Ensuring all systems operate to regulatory standards, all property assets are constantly maintained to the highest level and all legally mandated safety operating systems/criteria are adhered to by all.</li>
<li>Accountable for managing budgets, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation.</li>
<li>Training, mentoring and the development of the engineering team, scheduling of employees, directing and coordinating all engineering activities to ensure efficient management of engineering/hotel operations.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum requirements: Five years experience as a Chief Engineer or facilities engineer in a Hospitality related environment.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and safety operating systems.</li>
<li>Knowledge in OSHA regulations, National, State and Local building regulations and codes, equipment operations and preventive maintenance procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a background check.</li>
