<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Paladin Security is Hiring a Casual Security Guard!<p></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Sarnia, ON, Canada<br /><strong>Wage:</strong> $18/hour (hourly role)<br /><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Casual</p><p></p><strong>About the Role</strong><p>Paladin Security is looking for motivated and reliable <strong>Casual Security Guards</strong> to join our Sarnia team. As a key member of our security operations, you will help ensure the safety of premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.</p><p></p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li> Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure safety and security. </li><li> Conduct regular security checks of parking areas, entrances, exits, and designated zones. </li><li> Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activities. </li><li> Control access at entry points and verify authorized personnel. </li><li> Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies with appropriate actions. </li><li> Enforce company policies and procedures, reporting suspicious activities. </li><li> Document incidents, accidents, and security breaches in reports. </li><li> Monitor surveillance equipment and report malfunctions. </li><li> Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors. </li><li> Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Valid <strong>Ontario Security License</strong></li><li><strong>Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C</strong> (from a WSIB-approved vendor) </li><li><strong>G-Class Driver’s License</strong> with clean driver’s abstract </li><li> Own reliable transportation </li><li> English fluency (oral and written) </li><li> Minimum <strong>1 year of security experience</strong></li><li> Certifications in <strong>Use of Force (UOF)</strong> and <strong>Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)</strong></li><ul><li><em>Note: Candidates without UOF/MOAB certifications may complete Paladin’s training program before onboarding (training costs covered with a 6-month commitment).
