<p><p>Reference #: 8083</p><p>Location: Winnipeg, London, or Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office)</p><p><b>Type: Sub-contract</b></p><p>Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst, for one of our key clients. The Business Systems Analyst will maintain a “business perspective” through all phases of the problem resolution and systems enhancement and work closely to understand business needs, opportunities, and requirements.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Representing the business’ requirements;</li><li>Defining and designing the business functionality of the system;</li><li>Ensuring that the system meets the defined business requirements;</li><li>Defining business problems / opportunities, providing a clear definition and performing benefit analysis;</li><li>Performing business and systems analysis and design, articulating the logical design alternatives and recommending appropriate solutions;</li><li>Performing functional analysis and design, defining and documenting detailed business requirements;</li><li>Performing functional testing of system changes and supporting user acceptance testing of those changes;</li><li>Contributing to training strategies and business implementation planning;</li><li>Creating processes from audit findings and documenting them;</li><li>Gathering requirements from business to create business requirements documentation;</li><li>Leveraging experience with creating / writing process documentation; and</li><li>Ability to take output from an audit, drive out the process and document it.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A degree in related discipline (Commerce / Management Information Systems, Business Administration) or equivalent combination of training and experience;</li><li>Good understanding of business principles and experience with a broad range of different types of business functions;</li><li>Understanding of general IT project methodologies, processes and practices;</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that rely on a structured approach to problem solving;</li><li>Effective internal consulting skills with a strong customer service orientation;</li><li>Communicating in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbal, that is appropriate for the audience;</li><li>Good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment;</li><li>Ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure;</li><li>Effective planning and organizational skills;</li><li>Good understanding of information technology / information systems;</li><li>Process creation;</li><li>Pulling information from stakeholders on what to do;</li><li>Setting up a team with a process and everything they need to be successful;</li><li>Quarterly reviews of advisor accounts, documenting and storing properly;</li><li>Building T2P;</li><li>Technical expertise;</li><li>Writing, editing and proofreading skills;</li><li>Ability to collaborate; and</li><li>Organization and time management skills.</li></ul><h3>Application Instructions</h3><ul><li>To apply for this position please complete the form below.</li><li>Name</li><li>First</li><li>Last</li><li>Email</li><li>Daytime Phone</li><li>City</li><li>Province / State</li><li>Attach Cover Letter and Resume</li><li>Max. file size: 20 MB.
