Join a company that’s redefining how dealers manage their most important asset — their people.</p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role in HR4's growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities. This entry-level role supports by researching potential clients, engaging prospective customers, and setting up qualified meetings to drive new business. The BDR is an integral part of our sales funnel, enabling HR4 to expand its client base across North America.</p><p><strong>This position operates on West Coast hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST) to align with our clients and prospects in that region.</strong></p><p>In addition to prospecting responsibilities, this role includes monitoring and managing live customer support chat from 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM PST to ensure timely, high-quality responses to client inquiries.</p><p>To be a standout in this role, you'll need grit, discipline, and a “dig in” mindset that drives you to go beyond the ordinary. Mastering HR4 inside and out, understanding the market, and staying in tune with our customers’ needs are critical. Our primary goal is to pique dealers' interest in our solution and compel them to book a demo with you.</p><p>Staying organized and managing your time efficiently will set you up for success, and you’ll have the resources you need to keep you on track. Together, we’ll achieve great things.</p><p><strong>Specific Responsibilities</strong></p><p><em><strong>Lead Generation & Prospecting: </strong>To learn the market inside and out</em></p><ul><li>Thoroughly research and identify potential clients within the automotive sector and other relevant markets.</li><li>Take ownership of understanding your market and identifying the needs of potential customers.</li><li>Organize the information within the format provided, including dealership details, current systems, and usage.</li><li>Generate and qualify new leads through various channels (e.g., cold calls, emails, social media, and inbound inquiries).</li><li>Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects in the CRM (HubSpot), ensuring timely follow-up.</li></ul><p><em><strong>Prospect Outreach & Engagement: </strong>To generate interest and book demos</em></p><ul><li>Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce HR4’s solutions and assess interest.</li><li>Communicate fluently in both English and French to build rapport and effectively engage diverse clients.</li><li>Develop an understanding of client needs to clearly communicate HR4's value proposition.</li><li>Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to schedule meetings with qualified leads.</li></ul><p><strong>Market Research: </strong>To thoroughly understand your competitors</p><ul><li>Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to continuously refine outreach strategies.</li><li>Collect insights to support sales and marketing strategies, assisting in targeting high-potential prospects.</li></ul><p><em><strong>Client Support Live Chat (2:30 PM – 5:00 PM PST): </strong>To ensure clients receive timely, high-quality support</em></p><ul><li>Monitor and respond to live chat inquiries during assigned hours, providing accurate and professional assistance in both English and French.</li><li>Collaborate with the Client Success team to escalate or resolve complex issues.</li><li>Capture insights from client interactions to help improve the overall customer experience.</li></ul><p><em><strong>Collaboration & Communication: </strong>To ensure you are getting what you need and being heard</em></p><ul><li>Work closely with the Director of Sales & Growth and the CEO to transition leads through the sales pipeline effectively.</li><li>Engage in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on HR4's offerings and sales strategies.</li><li>Be prepared to provide regular updates to key stakeholders on progress, obstacles, and opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Skills & Competencies:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Highly organized, with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow within the role.</li><li>Comfortable with CRM software (Hubspot) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Ability to quickly learn and understand software features and benefits.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Education & Experience:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Sales Experience in a client-facing role is required, within HR is a bonus.</li><li>Software implementation experience is a bonus.</li></ul><p>Working hours may not always fall into the regular nine to five patterns, so a willingness to be flexible and go above and beyond to meet client expectations will be required.</p><p><em>HR4 Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer.
