Internship Details:

  • Duration: 4 months (Summer 2026)
  • Locations: Saskatoon
  • Compensation: $24 - $31 / Hour

What You'll Learn:

  • Trial methodology and crop production techniques.
  • Pest identification and management.
  • Operation of small plot equipment.
  • Communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Safe and healthy work practices in agricultural research.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the research program to develop agricultural solutions for Canadian growers.
  • Plan and execute field experiments at BASF research farms.
  • Summarize and present research findings.
  • Collaborate with a hardworking and detail-oriented team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree/diploma program (e.g. environmental science, biology, agronomy, soil science).
  • Enthusiastic and committed to gaining experience in field research.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of agricultural practices and farm equipment is an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence required.

To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program. We do not accept applications from students who have already graduated.
