Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Transformation, the AVP, Change Performance Management plays a central role in enabling effective decision-making across Aviva Canada’s change portfolio. This role is responsible for enterprise-wide visibility of transformation activity, performance, and investment, ensuring our most important programs stay on track and deliver value.

Acting as a key partner to senior leaders, this role leads a lean team that drives portfolio insights, produces executive and board-level reporting, and stewards the rhythm of enterprise change governance. It is both a strategic and hands-on role requiring strong analytical capability, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with clarity and impact

What you’ll do:

  • Leading a team that delivers enterprise-wide portfolio insights, reporting, and analytics to support effective decision-making.

  • Owning the end-to-end reporting cycle for the Change Investment Steering Committee (CIS), including monthly packs, forward agenda planning, and action tracking.

  • Creating clear, concise, and visually effective materials for executive and board-level audiences.

  • Ensuring all major change programs are accurately represented in our portfolio view, with performance tracked against cost, timeline, and outcomes.

  • Partnering with Finance, HR, and other teams to align reporting on investment, resource capacity, and delivery performance.

  • Overseeing the annual refresh of the enterprise transformation roadmap in collaboration with Business Units and Functions.

  • Driving adoption of common performance metrics and reporting standards across the transformation ecosystem.

  • Identifying portfolio-level risks, themes, and trends, and surfacing them early to enable proactive intervention.

  • Supporting annual planning processes and scenario modeling to inform investment decisions.

  • Acting as a center of excellence for change data quality, tooling, and governance practices.

  • Managing a high-performing team and creating development opportunities aligned to individual strengths.

  • Continuously improving the ways we capture, interpret, and communicate change performance across the enterprise.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in portfolio management, transformation reporting, or enterprise performance roles.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to turn complex information into actionable insight.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft executive-level materials and tell a compelling story through data.

  • Experience producing board or ExCo-level reporting under tight deadlines.

  • Deep understanding of change delivery practices and program lifecycle fundamentals.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, including Finance, HR, and Strategy.

  • Demonstrated people leadership capability, with experience developing high-performing teams.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of accountability.
