We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeymen Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and systems issues
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of automotive components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Interpret schematics and technical repair information to accurately diagnose problems
  • Utilize welding skills for exhaust repairs
  • Assemble parts and components following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Assist with vehicle diagnostics using computerized testing equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Candidate will be expected to diagnosis and repair the following items; Brake systems, front end suspension and wheel alignments, on-board computer systems, light engine repair, and exhaust.

Requirements

  • Proven experience perferabley as a Journeymen Automotive Technician,
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read schematics and knowledge of technical repair info
  • Experience with performing motor vehicle inspections is a plus
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
  • The ability to communicate effectively about repair needs and solutions
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and automotive repair best practices
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred
  • Must own your own tools and toolbox

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
