Job Description

Join our team as an Automotive Painter in our truck body division where you will use your skills to prep, paint, and finish truck body parts in a state-of-the-art paint booth.

Responsibilities

Work in the truck body division, specifically within the paint booth.

Prepare and paint truck body parts.

Finish painted parts to meet quality standards.

Conduct quality checks and mil thickness reporting.

Read and interpret paint specification requirements.

Apply PPG Delfleet Evolution product effectively.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of proven experience working in a paint booth.

Experience with wet paint pressure pot application.

Ability to conduct quality checks and report mil thickness.

Understanding of paint specification requirements.

Experience with PPG Delfleet Evolution product application.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Automotive painting experience is an advantage.

310B certification is a strong nice-to-have.



Experience in paint preparation and finishing.

Proficiency with auto body paint and paint spraying.

Work Environment

You will be working in a very clean and well-lit environment. The role requires working within a paint booth, and you must be comfortable wearing a full coverall suit and mask. We offer two shifts: a day shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday, and an afternoon shift from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday to Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MILTON, Ontario.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00/hr.
