<p><p><span>We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer with experience programming in PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate should have PLC code development experience in Dairy and Water Treatment technologies. This role is for a growing company that is one of the leading automation providers in New Zealand. You will work with customers to provide automation solutions for new project development in the dairy and water treatment industries.</span></p><p><p><span>This person must be passionate about supporting automation systems through the use of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.</span></p><p><span>You should have demonstrated ability to lead projects through design, development, and deployment of new products for manufacturing and process automation solutions.</span></p><p><span>The candidate must be fully conversant with a range of electrical procedures in factory automation, including design, programming, commissioning, maintenance, support, troubleshooting, and research and development.</span></p><p><span>Programming skills in PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems are required, with experience in various PLCs such as:</span></p><ul><li><span>Rockwell - Allen-Bradley; ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, SLC series</span></li><li><span>Schnieder M580 and M340</span></li><li><span>Siemens</span></li></ul><p><span>Experience with designing and programming HMI and SCADA systems, including:</span></p><ul><li><span>Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE for SCADA and ME for HMI</span></li><li><span>Wonderware System Platform</span></li><li><span>FTView SE</span></li><li><span>WinCC</span></li><li><span>SCADA platforms such as Citect, IFIX, Ignition</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></span></p><ol><li><span>A degree in Mechatronics or a related field, or</span></li><li><span>At least 4 years of full-time experience as an Automation Engineer supporting systems and delivering projects involving PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming.</span></li><li><span>Excellent spoken communication skills.</span></li><li><span>Experience with PLC code development in Dairy and Water Treatment technologies.</span></li><li><span>Engineering skills utilizing Schneider, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens PLCs.</span></li><li><span>Experience developing HMI systems with Wonderware System Platform, Ignition, IFIX, FTView SE, and WinCC.</span></li><li><span>Proven ability to develop PLC systems from technical specifications from scratch.</span></li></ol><p><span><strong>Benefits</strong></span></p><ol><li><span>Work for one of New Zealand's leading automation companies.</span></li><li><span>Engage in a wide variety of challenging client projects.</span></li><li><span>Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000 per year.</span></li><li><span>Company-provided cell phone with unlimited personal use and a laptop.</span></li><li><span>Healthcare insurance.</span></li><li><span>On-call roster with potential to earn an extra $10K+ annually.</span></li><li><span>Travel opportunities with a company car and per diem.</span></li><li><span>Significant growth potential within the company.</span></li><li><span>Four weeks of leave plus your birthday off.</span></li><li><span>Flexible working hours, guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.</span></li></ol></p></p>
