The audio-visual technician positions we are looking to fill will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of events every single week and will be handling the controls of each event.

Summary: Pynx Productions provides entertainment and technical AV solutions to a variety of clients in a high pressure environment with tight deadlines. Our ideal candidate must have excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. You will be working primarily Tuesday through Saturday. We are seeking experienced audio, video and lighting technicians to expand our growing team.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Equipment testing and organization
  • Warehouse duties
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Preparing equipment for shows
  • Setting up events
  • Operating events
  • Tearing down events

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the AV industry
  • Knowledge in sound, lighting and or video operations
  • Class G Licence
  • Reliable transportation to office and local job sites (Pynx supplies work vehicles to out of town job sites)
  • Clean police background check and vulnerable sector check
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Problem solving skills and critical thinking are a MUST
  • A good attitude / team player
  • Punctual
  • Approachable and friendly
