Job DescriptionWe currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at the Oshawa Executive Airport.
Reporting to the East Chief Engineer, duties include:
- Planning and performing aircraft maintenance.
- Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Organizing and maintaining the hangar and support equipment.
- Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Hold a valid Transport Canada License (M1 and/or M2).
- Must have completed a H125 Transport Canada Approved Type Course and be eligible to obtain H125 series Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA).
- Experience and/or ACA on the AS350 series is considered an asset.
- Strong avionics troubleshooting background is considered an asset.
- Ability to obtain Access to Controlled Goods Approval.
- Must have the legal right to work in Canada. (This position is not available for sponsorship).
- Drug and alcohol testing will be required prior to employment along with a negative criminal record.
- Must be organized and a self-starter.
- Must be customer focused and be a team player.
- Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Communication skills in English; French is an asset.
Additional Information
Status: Permanent, full-time.
Location: Oshawa Executive Airport. The position will eventually move to Newmarket, ON following relocation of the aircraft.
Schedule: The positions involve on-call and call-outs during days, evenings and weekend.
