Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at the Oshawa Executive Airport.

Reporting to the East Chief Engineer, duties include:

  • Planning and performing aircraft maintenance.
  • Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Organizing and maintaining the hangar and support equipment.
  • Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Transport Canada License (M1 and/or M2).
  • Must have completed a H125 Transport Canada Approved Type Course and be eligible to obtain H125 series Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA).
  • Experience and/or ACA on the AS350 series is considered an asset.
  • Strong avionics troubleshooting background is considered an asset.
  • Ability to obtain Access to Controlled Goods Approval.
  • Must have the legal right to work in Canada. (This position is not available for sponsorship).
  • Drug and alcohol testing will be required prior to employment along with a negative criminal record.
  • Must be organized and a self-starter.
  • Must be customer focused and be a team player.
  • Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Communication skills in English; French is an asset.


Additional Information

Status: Permanent, full-time.

Location: Oshawa Executive Airport. The position will eventually move to Newmarket, ON following relocation of the aircraft.

Schedule: The positions involve on-call and call-outs during days, evenings and weekend.
