Job Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:

  • Accurately record and process remittances
  • Manage incidental billing tasks
  • Prepare and post month-end (ME) journal entries
  • Perform accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely collections and reconciliations

Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk :


  • Accounting degree preferred, but candidates with solid experience will be considered
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and theories
  • Comfortable working in a church setting
  • Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIF statements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
