Ultrasound Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at UCHealth in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
About the Role:
This is an ongoing part-time position, requiring 40 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve outstanding outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provides top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing your expertise in ultrasound technology.
Reviews patient history, physician orders, and schedules exams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice, as ordered by physicians.
Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification is also required.

Competitive hourly rate: $38.72 – $58.08 per hour, dependent on relevant experience.
